Clean Energy Resources

Building a clean energy future begins with all of us, as the actions we take today will impact generations to come. By taking simple steps like planting trees, changing our transportation methods, and replacing inefficient energy sources in our homes, we can initiate a transformative wave toward an environmentally sustainable and healthier future for all. Fortunately, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) provides Americans with numerous incentives, such as tax credits and rebates, for those aiming to reduce their carbon footprint. Explore the resources below to learn how you can benefit from adopting clean energy practices and help usher in a clean energy future.

Households can receive a tax credit to cover 30% of the costs of installing rooftop solar to help families save hundreds of dollars per year on their energy bills.

Families can claim up to $1,200 in credit each year for adding insulation or installing efficient windows and doors, and a special credit of up to $2,000 for electric heat pumps which provide efficient heating and cooling.

Households can claim a tax credit for 30% of the costs of buying and installing a heat pump, up to $2,000 including support for any electric system upgrades needed to make the home heat-pump-ready.

For new vehicles, qualified households can receive a tax credit of up to $7,500 to purchase an EV.
